Jesus, Lover of My Soul

Romans 1:20 - "For the invisible things of God, from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even this eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse"
Last week, I was sitting on my back porch, feeling very overwhelmed about some things, and it seemed the more I thought the more I anxious I was getting. I went from one thing to another in my mind. I bound. I loosed. I did everything I knew to do. Meanwhile a beautiful day was slipping away, lost over things that will probably never happen…that's called worry.
Soon a tiny bird flew close and landed about five feet away from me on my fence, and it looked like it was staring at me! It started singing in a rhythmic way, the same tune over and over again. I would have rather it fly away so I could get back to my deep thoughts, but it just stayed there. Then the Lord spoke to me in my spirit, "this is My love song to you, listen and enjoy, I have everything under control in your life, it's all going to be alright".
I would have dismissed this encounter had it not been for my Pastor who told of two doves that ministered to him outside his window many years ago. When he shared that at church, I thought to myself, "I don't know about birds singing to you, sounds a little strange". But when it happened to me, I believed it! That's why it's so powerful to share some of your God-moments with others. What we share builds faith in others when similar things happen to them.
When that little bird sang it's love song directly to me, I simply listened and smiled and didn't want it to end. Come to find out, that bird sings outside my house quite often, and when it does, I hear, "I'm the Lover of your soul". God loves you. Romans 1:20 says that we see His love all around us, because God created it all, hallelujah! No need to worry about today, tomorrow, or next week, or next year. God is in control. Jesus is the Lover of your soul. Take a few minutes and listen to this beautiful love song to you.
