Hive'n Sent

Exodus 3:8 - "I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land into a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey…"
Sweet Lord! The Episcopal Bishop of New York recently welcomed the newest members of his congregation, a hive of 15,000 bees he hopes will provide a harvest of tasty honey and help pollinate local gardens. The blessing Rev. Mark Sisk prayed over the bees, "may the sweetness of their honey remind us of the sweetness of God's love for us".
In Exodus 3:8, the Lord came down to deliver the Israelites out of the hand of the Egyptians. I really like the rest of the verse that says, that He not only was bringing them out, but He was bringing them IN to something great.
You see, here is the principle folks, God doesn’t just bring you out of bondage and stop there…He always brings you out, that He might bring you in to something new, something exciting.
This verse says that He is bringing Israel out of bondage and into a good land, and, I like this, "a large". When God gets involved it's going to be good and it's going to be large, God doesn't do anything small. A land flowing with milk and honey describes a lifestyle of prosperity, and prosperity here doesn't just mean money.
If you're sick and have a million dollars in the bank, you're a poor man with money. The same goes for your marriage, a million dollars doesn't do much good if your whole family is broken apart. No, prosperity is every area, health for your body, prosperity for your bank account, and well being for every member of your family.
Hive'n sent is the good life, it's the sweet life, it's giving yourself permission to enjoy your life. So go ahead, God is bringing you out, but, shout a little bit, He is bringing you in, because your life is hive'n sent!
